Child Safety Standards

Adults only

Every member must be of legal marriageable age under Indian law — 18 for women and 21 for men. Date of birth is a required field, the platform refuses profiles below the legal age, and profiles found to belong to or depict a minor are removed and the account closed.

What is prohibited

• Creating a profile for, or on behalf of, anyone under the legal marriageable age.
• Uploading, sharing or requesting any sexual or sexualised content involving a minor.
• Using messages, photos or any feature to contact, groom, solicit or exploit a minor.
• Any conduct that endangers a child, on or off the platform.

Violations lead to immediate removal of the content, permanent closure of the account, and — where the law requires or a child may be at risk — a report to the relevant authorities, including the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

How to report a concern

1. In the app or on the website: open the profile and use Report (and Block). Reports reach our moderation team directly.
2. Contact form: msmatrimony.com/contact-us with the subject “Child safety”.
3. Email: support@msmatrimony.com. You do not need an account to write to us.

We review every child-safety report as a priority, remove offending content and accounts, preserve the evidence, and cooperate fully with law enforcement. If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first (dial 112 in India, or 1098 for Childline).

Our commitments

• We comply with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules under them, and with applicable child-safety laws wherever we operate.
• We comply with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy.
• Profiles are reviewed by our team before they become searchable, and every reported photo, video or message is checked by a person.
• Members can report and block any profile at any time, and every report is handled by a person.
