How MS Matrimony works
Everything you can do here, who sees what, and how we keep your family safe — in ten short parts.
1. Join and get approved
- Register free with your mobile number or email, then fill in your profile in short steps. It saves as you go.
- A person on our team reads and approves every profile. Until then your profile is not shown to other members.
- MS Matrimony is for Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Parsi and Christian families. Members see only the opposite gender.
2. Find matches
- Matches and Discover suggest profiles that fit your preferences, and where you fit theirs.
- Search by community, place, age and more. Search filters come with Premium and Elite.
- To keep profiles safe from copying, each member can open a limited number of profiles each day.
3. Interests and messages
- Send an interest. If they accept, you are a match and can message each other.
- Free members can send 5 interests a month and 10 messages a day to their matches.
- Saying no is free and silent: nobody is told.
4. Phone and email
- Phone numbers and emails are never shown on profiles.
- After you match, a Premium or Elite member can ask for contact details. The other member decides.
- Shared contact details stay visible while your plan is active.
5. Your privacy
- Others see your first name and an initial, for example "Mounika K.", until you both accept. You can choose to show your full name.
- Your photos carry a watermark. You choose who sees them: everyone, members, or only your matches.
- Hide your profile at any time, hide it from members in your city, or from someone you know by their member ID.
- In the latest app, screenshots of member screens are blocked.
6. Free and paid plans
- Registering, building your profile and receiving interests are free.
- Premium and Elite add full profiles, more interests and messages, Kundli scores and contact requests.
- Plans open once your profile is approved.
7. Kundli and horoscope
- Add your birth star to see Guna (Ashtakuta) scores with your matches, with Premium and Elite.
- Your date, time and place of birth are never shown to others. They see your age only.
8. Help from family
- Invite up to 2 relatives, each with their own login, to help with your search.
- You choose what they can do, and you can end their access at any time.
9. Staying safe
- Get a Verified badge with a free selfie check.
- Block or report anyone from their profile or your chat. Never send money to anyone you meet here.
10. Taking a break or leaving
- Hide your profile instead of deleting it: everything is kept, and we email you when a suitable profile joins.
- You can download or email yourself a copy of your data, and delete your account at any time.
