Delete your MSMatrimony account
You can permanently delete your account and profile yourself, at any time, from your account settings. It takes a couple of minutes and cannot be undone.
How to delete it
- Sign in to MSMatrimony, on the website or in the app.
- Open your profile, then the Account Settings tab.
- In the Danger Zone, choose Delete Account.
- Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm.
- Enter the one-time code we send to the phone number on your profile — or to your account email if there is no valid phone number on it.
If you only want to stop appearing in search for a while, you can hide your profile from the same Account Settings tab instead. Hiding is reversible; deleting is not.
What is deleted
Your sign-in, your profile and everything on it, your photos and videos, your partner preferences, your interests and shortlists, and your messages. Other members can no longer find or contact you.
What we keep
Records of payments and invoices, which we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes and to answer payment disputes, and a record that the account was deleted. These are kept only as long as the law requires. Our privacy policy explains how long.
If you cannot sign in
Send us a deletion request through our contact form with the subject “Delete my account”, using the email address registered on the account. A member of our team will confirm the request with you and delete the account.
